1. Introduction
- 1.1 Preface
Welcome to our forum – also known as "GTA 6 Forum" – your community for everything related to the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI.
Before registering, please take the time to carefully read through our terms of use below and accept them after the countdown at the end.
If you do not agree to these terms, registration is not possible. - 1.2 Privacy Policy Notice
Please also read our Privacy Policy carefully before registering.
It explains how your data is collected, stored, and used.
If you do not agree with one or more points of the policy, registration is also not possible. - 1.3 Questions About the Terms
If you have questions about one or more terms or something is unclear, please contact us via our ticket system. - 1.4 Systematic Exploitation of Loopholes in the Terms
Even if certain points are not explicitly stated in the terms, exploiting such omissions is not allowed.
More details can be found in Sections 4.1, 4.2, and 4.4.
2. General Terms of Use
- 2.1 General
All users must adhere to the rules. Friendly interaction and appropriate language and tone are expected from everyone. Discussions are encouraged, but they must always remain respectful and courteous. - 2.2 Updates to the Terms
All users are required to regularly check for updates to the terms.
Changes will be announced in a separate topic.
Renewed consent will only be required if major changes are made. This does not apply to restructuring of wording or sentences. - 2.3 User account
Each user is only permitted to create one account. It is prohibited to create multiple accounts using the same IP address.
If several people live in the same household and therefore share an IP address, a ticket must be submitted via our ticket system prior to registration, providing the user names and email addresses with which they intend to register.
Misleading, offensive, or trademark-infringing user names are not permitted. The administration may reject any user name at its own discretion and demand immediate renaming.
Failure to comply will result in immediate suspension of the user accounts. - 2.4 Minimum Age
Registration is only permitted for users who are at least 18 years old.
At the end of these terms, there will be a confirmation which must be answered truthfully.
In case of doubt, the site operator – as listed in the legal notice – may request a copy of a valid ID.
Failure to comply will result in precautionary suspension of the account. - 2.5 Providing a Valid Email Address During Registration
Registration is only possible with a valid email address.
Using so-called “disposable” email addresses is prohibited, including Apple’s iCloud+ “Hide My Email” feature, which creates randomly generated addresses.
Administrators may request a change of the provided email address. The user will be informed separately.
Failure to comply will result in account suspension. - 2.6 Third-party advertising
It is not permitted to post third-party advertising in any form for your own or other projects/websites or to display it visibly in your profile.
This includes profile features such as avatars, signatures, or similar. If this is noticed, the user concerned will first be asked via private conversation to change the profile content in question.
Posting in the form of topics and contributions is also not permitted and will be punished with immediate deletion of the respective topic/contribution.
The administration reserves the right to independently modify and delete content from the affected user's profile. The avatar/signature function may also be blocked, or the user may be permanently excluded from the community, depending on the individual case. - 2.7 Illegal content
In addition to point 2.6. Third-party advertising, this also applies to all illegal content, such as file attachments, links to dubious sites, etc.
Supporters, moderators, and administrators decide for themselves what they consider to be “illegal” or “dubious” and will respond accordingly with deletion and sanctions.
3. Creating Topics and Posts
- 3.1 Topics
When creating a topic, ensure it does not already exist in a similar form. Use the search function beforehand; a notification may also appear when creating a new topic.
Double posting is not allowed.
Choose a headline that is as expressive and concise as possible. Emojis or similar are not allowed.
3.2 Posts
Posting multiple replies in a row is not allowed. There must always be at least one other user’s post in between. Alternatively, please use the "Edit" function.
Spam of any kind is strictly prohibited and will be penalized accordingly.
When writing a post, ensure that it is relevant to the topic. - 3.3 Specific Terms for Subforums
Certain subforums may have additional rules, which can be found pinned or announced at the top of those sections.
Please take them into account when creating topics and posts.
4. Violations of the Rules
- 4.1 Warnings & Sanctions
Any moderator or administrator may issue warnings and sanctions if the terms of use are violated.
It is at their discretion whether and how rules are enforced, and deviations from the rule set are possible.
There are predefined warnings with a points system; reaching a certain threshold will trigger automatic sanctions. These predefined rules and penalties can be found under "Rules".
Users have the right to appeal a moderator’s warning or sanction if they believe it was unjustified.
Administrators will decide whether the appeal is granted.
If the warning was issued by an administrator, an appeal is not possible. - 4.2 Deletion of Topics & Posts
Any team member can delete topics and posts at their discretion.
Topics can also be moved to other sections if posted in the wrong place.
When a topic or post is deleted, a reason will be provided and visible to everyone. - 4.3 Circumventing Warnings & Sanctions
Attempting to circumvent any warnings or sanctions is strictly prohibited. - 4.4 Exclusion from the Community
Exclusion can only be enacted by an administrator or if a user reaches a predefined threshold of warnings and points.
Administrators may exclude users from the community at any time, for any reason.
There is no entitlement to membership, and it cannot be claimed.
The person named in the legal notice has final authority.
5. Miscellaneous
- 5.1 Applicability to Team Members
Users in the Groups Administrators, Moderators and Supporters are exempt from these terms of use. - 5.2 Rejection of the Terms of Use
If the terms are rejected during the confirmation process, the account will be automatically suspended.
If this was a mistake, the affected person can contact us through our ticket system. - 5.3 Deletion of user accounts and content (in accordance with DSGVO)
All users are free to delete their accounts themselves within their user account settings.
All topics and posts written during membership of the forum become the property of the forum.
Excluded from this are personal information about the user themselves, such as telephone numbers, email addresses, personal images, etc. For this, a separate ticket must be opened in which the user explains where this personal data is contained in which topic/post. This data will then be deleted separately after review.
There is no general right to have topics and posts in discussions or similar deleted; we refer explicitly to Art. 17 (3) (a) DSGVO in this regard.
